Step One: Choose Shape & Style of Stone
The first step is to select the type of stone you want for your memorial.
Sometimes, these are limited due to cemetery regulations. We will work with you and your chosen cemetery to ensure your memorial is exactly what you want, while still adhering to the cemetery restrictions. For more information on restrictions, check out our FAQ.
Grass Marker:
A flat or sloped stone close to the ground. Traditionally set in concrete, but for the ultimate in strength and durability ask us about our All-Granite options.
Upright Monument:
A vertical or upright gravestone that sits on a granite base. Can be polished on front and back (P2); front, top, and back (P3); or polished all sides (P5).
Upright Slant:
A wedge-shaped monument that can be installed with or without a granite base. Can be polished front only (P1); front and back (P2); or front, top, and back (P3).
Benches:
An upright monument in the style of a bench. We have styles with and without backrests, and with or without granite baseplates and flower vases.

Step Two: Stone Colors
We have Utah’s largest selection of granite in-stock, with new shipments arriving frequently. One of our owners also owns Dixie Granite Company in Elberton, Georgia – a major granite manufacturing company in the monument industry. If we don’t have what you’re looking for in-stock we can source it weeks or months ahead of the competition. View the most common granite colors below:
Step Three: Selecting Finish
For grass markers, we have options with concrete borders as well as all-granite options – the ultimate in strength and durability.
For upright monuments you can choose how many surfaces you want polished – front and back (P2), front, top and back (P3), or all surfaces polished (P5).
For benches you can select the style of bench you’re looking for.
Step Four: Engraving and Accessories
The final step is to select the type of engraving your monument is going to have.
We do not charge per letter or per design element. Costs for standard engraving are included in our pricing.
We have a large selection of fonts and various kinds of artwork.
We also are able to recess and install accessories on your monument like a portrait or medallion to further personalize your loved one’s memorial.
